Its around the opening of my vaginal area, just skin like tags that are soft and squishy.. i just got off an antibiotic so i think i have a yeast infection. But cant be normal.. I looked at Genital Wart pictures online and they all look like nasty crusty stuff, this isnt crusty at all.

most warts are squishy as you say. the pics on the net are often extreme cases so it could be warts. get them checked out by your doctor.

A few days ago I spotted what appears to be an underground pimple on the inside of outer labia. its smooth and a little tender if you poke at it. no odd colours and no visible pore or indentation the way you would get with most pimples.
I noticed a similar question like this and someone pointed to Hidradenitis suppurativa so i looked it up but any images they provided didnt really match up. I also looked up genital warts but that didnt seem to match either. Is it possible that this could just be a normal pimple that has yet to breech the surface of the skin?
I've only slept with 2 people in my life and both were clean so lord knows where this could have came from if its not just a pimple.

it could be a boil or a cyst. best to see a doctor before it becomes infected.

It may be a pimple that hasn't come to a head or a boil. my wife has gotten something similar that she put a small bit of VICKS on. it never really came to a head that could be popped. it finally went away by itself with the VICKS treatment.

We have been monogamous for 39 years, so it wasn't anything like an STD or virus.

its probably an ingrown hair that got a little infected…or just a pimple. ive gotten them where my underwear lays before.

try popping it in the shower when it comes to a head…and if it never comes to a head…it just must have cleared up on its own…

An international study found that the quadrivalent HPV vaccine is helpful in preventing warts and low grade lesions related to HPV (types 6, 11, 16 and 18).

HPVs are responsible for around 500,000 cases of cervical cancer a year globally and 10 million further cases of high grade cervical intraepithelial neoplasia, which are immediate precusors to malignant cancerous growths.

In addition, it is estimated that 30 million women and men acquire anogenital warts (known as condyloma acuminata) or low-grade cervical growths each year.

The vaccine for HPV types 6, 11, 16 and 18 has the potential to prevent about 70% of cervical cancers and 90% of genital warts, but what contribution the vaccines make to low grade growths is still uncertain.

So an international group of investigators set out to find how useful the vaccines were in preventing low grade disease.

They studied results from 17,622 women aged 16-26 enrolled into two studies between December 2001 and may 2003. the women were enrolled from primary care centres and university or hospital associated health centres in 24 countries and territories around the world.

The women were split at random into two groups – one group was given three doses of HPV vaccine (for types 6, 11, 16 and 18) at day 1, month 2, and month 6 of the study, while the other women were given a placebo.

Results showed that amongst previously unexposed women who had received the vaccine, it was highly effective (96-100%) for preventing low grade lesions attributable to HPV types 6, 11, 16 and 18 for up to four years.

It also had considerable effectiveness against any lesion (regardless of HPV type), with a reduction of 30% of cervical low-grade growths, 48% of vulvar and 75% of vaginal low-grade growths. Genital warts were reduced by 83%.

The authors say the prolonged effectiveness of the vaccine in preventing low grade lesions is important and conclude: “These lesions occur shortly after infection and a reduction in these lesions will be the earliest clinically noticeable health gain to be realised by HPV vaccination.

“Low-grade cervical and vulvovaginal lesions are important from a public health perspective, as the diagnosis, follow-up, and treatment of these common lesions are associated with substantial patient anxiety, morbidity, and healthcare costs.”

I’m 14 years old an I believe that I have a mild case of genital warts. My boyfriend has HPV and I came in contact with it about a year ago, after getting a 3-series vaccination to prevent obtaining it. I continuously went to my gynocologist to get checked out for genital warts and to test for HPV but was negative every time and never showed any symptoms. Now, after a year of protection, my boyfriend (who had the warts removed) and I are having unprotected sex in hopes of conceiving.I recently noticed a bubble-like spot about a 1/2 inch above my anus-hole (almost in the crack) that looks similar to pictures I’ve searched online of genital warts, but not as disgusting or severe as google images makes it look. We don’t have anal sex so I don’t understand how this could be HPV above my anus. Could it be something else? There’s no irritation or anything, but the “bubble” is big enough that I can feel it with my finger. It’s definitely not a pimple either. Cold this be a genital wart?Okay I’d also like to say to anyone who wants to play tough guy and leave a comment about how “dumb” I am to fu*k off. Don’t be so disrespectful. My boyfriend as young and irresponsible when he had unprotected sex and came in contact with HPV, a simple mistake that many people make in their lives. HPV no reason to disown someone you love, and no reason to stop living your life. First off I am 13. I am a virgin. I know that Genital Warts are a type of STD. Alright, last night around 11:40 or so, I noticed that I had these weird white bumps on my vulva. I thought, ‘oh maybe there just pimples’. Because people get pimples on their genitals ya know any way., but I was thinking ‘what if its genital warts? Or Genital Herpes (I’m not quite sure what the difference is… do you?).’ I wasn’t sure what they look like so I went to google and looked them up. According to pictures from medical websites (pictures of drawn genitals and the infections) they look similar. But compared to the pictures of REAL vulvas and infections it doesn’t look ANYTHING like those pictures. Also that side of my vulva is red although i’m pretty sure that most of it (the redness) was from me examining it. I checked it today and its more of a pink color. Last night, there seemed to be more of the white “things” in a certain area and I didn’t see all of them. Like I said above I am a virgin so I didn’t get it from sexual intercourse.What do you think it is?Please help!!Thanks in advance!
